I've never really had a problem with not having any sound on my sources...but it would be nice.
What im asking is what do you guys do to get your dvd sources ripped on your computer with dvd quality video and sound. (programs you use, steps you take, etc.)
I used DVD2AVI but it never got the sound to work...maybe I was doing something wrong...i dunno.

The sound on the DVD is probably Dolby Digital AC-3. Most video editors will not support AC-3 without adding additional plugins. I use Ulead Media Studio Pro 7. It already has AC-3 support in it, so it's usually not a problem for me to get the sound.

There's a guide in that covers converting the AC-3 to .wav. http://www.animemusicvideos.org/guides/ ... dio3b.html

Well, DVD2AVI (or DGIndex) can strip the sound out and save it as a .wav.
