Hello,
I know there's quite a handful of Mac users in this forum and I'm wondering ...
Some people have been reporting video stuttering and corruption (various green pixels) when playing XviD 1.0.1 on a Mac. I don't know about you but these files play quite fine on my 800 MHz G4 iBook using the latest versions of VLC, MPlayer OSX, and QuickTime (with the 3vix component) ... The only things I could think of are user-faults or lack-of-software-upgrades.
I'm not sure what could be causing that and what the solution could be ...
XviD 1.0.1 on Mac?

I haven't had any problems with xvid101 on my machine: 1ghz G4 powerbook with QT6.5, 3ivx and divx5 installed. I have noticed that rewinding video, or stepping back frames during playback isn't the smoothest with 3ivx, but just playing forward is fine.
Could the problems your talking about be a hardware issue? Like a processor that's not fast enough, or too little RAM maybe?
Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

The only acceptable, legitimate State is that of flux.
