0SEx
DVDBackup
Hades
MacTheRipper

My personal recommendation would be MacTheRipper (fairly straightforward). These can easily be found VIA versiontracker.com/macosx

You can use DiVA (http://diva.3ivx.com) to convert the VOB files to something usable in iMovie or Final Cut. If you're using iMovie I would use the DVCPRO codec. If using Final Cut, I would use Apple Pixlet, Apple Animation, PNG, TIFF, Uncompressed 4:2:2, or Component (although, I use PhotoJPEG on the Highest quality setting if I'm a bit tight on disk space).

Also, for iMovie, you will need use QuickTime Pro or similar programs to split the outputted QuickTime movie into smaller pieces since it can only import 9:57 minutes (or 9:27 if editing in PAL mode) per clip.

Hope that helps.
Yeah ... I use a Mac ... it works and I like it.
