Trouble with Windows Movie Maker 2
I am having a real real hard time with Windows Movie Maker 2. I never had a problem before today and I don't know what the problem is. I have all the clips imported, but it keeps freezing up when I try to save the movie files. If no one knows what I should do, at least tell me how to uninstall it and and then reinstall it. Thank You.

try breaking your video up into shorter segments (~30 seconds each) and export each segment one at a time. then when you are done, merge the segments with avisynth/virtualdub and attach audio.
wmm2 can't be uninstalled without a hard drive restore.

when you say 'save the movie files'...do you mean exporting?
if so, how is the editing? Do any of the clips freeze while you're editing, previewing? The good old fashioned answer is to check whether they are divx or xvid (maybe even quicktime files, if wmm supports that)...if not, and you're using a well encoded avi...then the problem might come in the settings of the exported file...or the project itself. I'll admit I'm not too familiar with wmm...but these are things to consider seeing as how they're very commonplace in all programs...hope you get this fixed.

Oh how convenient. A theory about God that doesn't require looking through a telescope.

AHHH
Okay, it's the files that are already imported. They are all in my Collections waiting to be made into video clips. A few days ago I could make clips from all of the AVIs I had. The same clips that worked a few days ago aren't working. Damnet this sucks!!
