Removing Interlacing from DVD footage with Gordon Knot Pack

Post by Ethan_Matrix2001 » Wed Jan 19, 2005 12:04 pm

Hello to anyone who could help me. I have gotten the vic bond thing for using dvd footage for my amy but i just could not understand how to remove the interlacing so it wouldn't just look like crap when i played it. if someone could help me with this problem that would be great oh yeah and also i have the gun fight from Cowboy Bebop episode 1 opening and it is really graininy and that is where the interlacing really shows up too. I was wondering if there was a way that i could correct that too Thanks

if you are using downloaded episodes, it's going to be a bit different from dvd footage. you'll probably need to decomb rather than inverse telecline, and to get rid of the graininess, use a smoothing filter. try reading http://www.animemusicvideos.org/guides/avtech/ if none of it makes sense to you, and if it still doesn't make sense, let us know where you are stuck.
