you can't read any dvd? Try to run a videogame made on a dvd and see if it works, if it doesn't, and you can still read normal cds, maybe your dvd drive is somehow broken.
If you can read games made on DvD it means that you just don't have the program, Did u try with one of those suggested in this thread?
Or when you put your dvd inside windows says that the drive is "empty"?
Did you install your dvd drive by yourself?
Have you tride the dvd that doesn't work on another drive?
Sorry I am supposed to answer, but the more informations we get, the better will be the answer

Reason?
Whenever my DVD R/RW has stopped working it has always been because the ASPI layer has gotten messed up. I suggest finding and downloading Adaptec ASPI Check. If it is messed up the check will fix it.
http://download.adaptec.com/software_pc ... i_v472.exe
In the past having a screwed up ASPI layer has resulted in my: Not being able to see video, not being able to hear sound, and not being able to write DVDs. 4 different times it has messed up, I suspect something is seriously wrong on my computer.
The other way to fix your ASPI layer is to uninstall and re-install your DVD drive. I find a 2 second check far preferrable. Keep in mind that this is not necessarily what is wrong with your drive, it's just what I've found to fail the most.[/url]

Read Vic's working with DVD footage guide. Since I am guessing you don't know how to use Premiere, ignore the Premiere stuff. I'm not even sure if WMM even works with huffyuv files. But that guide will at least tell you how to rip your footage and clean it up.shinodude wrote:YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
