Too much file! How do I compress?

Post by Tookie46 » Mon Jan 31, 2005 2:49 pm

hi its me again!

Ive got my DVDs ripped and encoded. Ive downloaded the AMVapp (thanks AbsoluteDestiny your a peach for creating that application!) and i am going to be cutting the footage I have down in VirtualDubMod.

My problem is that the file is way too big. Im getting a 7GB file for just 5 min. of footage. Ive tried all the filters and compressors, nothings working.

How do I reduce the amount of file in the footage?

Have you tried using one of the <a href="http://www.animemusicvideos.org/guides/ ... tml">other methods</a> of getting usable footage from your AVISynth scripts?

Myself, I prefer simply working with the scripts directly in my editing program, but some programs won't let you do that easily.
