Alright, I made this pretty good video on Windows Media Maker. I have put all the clips together, but I can't add music...I saved the music file from my CD to the computer but I don't really know how to add it to the video. Could some one please tell me what I did wrong or what I can do?
Thanks
~Jessi

ya you just click on import audio then select the file from where it is and then it'll show up just where the video clips have always shown up. Make sure you are on "show timeline". Then drag the audio clip to the line underneath Video on the timeline. The line should say, Audio/Music. when you drag it drop it as far to the left as possible, so it'll start at the beginning of your vid. clips! Drop me a line if you have any more questions! I hope I helped!!!

WMM should be able to support any of these file names:Scintilla wrote:I'm assuming you ripped the CD track to a .WAV, in which case you should be able to just import the .WAV file into WMM and then drag it from the clip library onto the timeline.
.wav, .aif, .aiff, .aifc, .snd, .mp3, .au, .mpa, .mp2, .wma, .asf
You may also use a vid's music. LIke ex, if you have a music vid that has a song in it that you want, (and is the right file type to be imported in WMM) you can drag the vid. file to the Audio/Music line and it's used as an audio file for YOUR vid.

No, in fact, WMM is a wonderful movie editing program!! It's such a refresher to use when you've been using someone else's extremely complicated program . I worship it, it's easy, free, and all ya need. I did both of my vids from it! And they've gotten wonderful ratings! I thought they wouldn't turn out so good because WMM has barely any effects, but little did i know there are many wonderful vids done with WMM and many horrible ones not. So, yeup, WMM is good, don't worry about what it lacks, because it triumphs in a lot!Sangokirara711 wrote:I'm sorry, I made a mistake. It's Windows Movie Maker. Is that perhaps the wrong program to use?
