Good Software for AMV's for XP

Post by Neriah » Sat Apr 09, 2005 12:16 pm

Hey, I could use some cuing in on what kind of software is best for doing this type of thing. Or if there's a certain beginner's software that I could try using. I'm interested in trying this out, but I'm a little bit lost as of where to start. Do you have to have a video capture card and such?

A good program to use for video-editing is Adobe premiere 6.0 its easy once you get the hang of it. Its expensive though. I didn't have to pay for it though I got it for free. Probably already know how.::hint hint:: lol

Actually you don't need a video capture card you can just rip dvds to get footage. Its what I do now. ^_^

You can go to the website below to download the AMV app that has a bunch of stuff you can use for ripping dvd footage and it has guides on what to do ^_^

If you've got Windows XP, then you've already got Windows Movie Maker (and can get Windows Movie Maker 2 for free (you should)), which is a fine beginner's editor. Quite easy to use and it even has some effects included (v2 only).
