I have an AMD Athlon XP 1800+ (1.54gHz), 768mb of RAM (32mb reserved for my onboard vid card since my GeForce shit itself the other day), and 160mb total HD space.Fanime2K wrote:I was also just looking at the requirements and the min. aren't to bad, but the recommended are off the charts. Using Avisynth and DVD rips, Premiere Pro 1.5 works smoothly and better than any earlier version for me.
Ignore the "recommended" list - its usually set ridiculously high for no good reason whatsoever. They should make companies doing that illegal - for example Apple say that the iPod wont work if you don't have USB 2.0 - well I have USB 1.1 and it works fine. Note that they don't say it won't work AS WELL AS; they just say that it WONT work, which is complete bullshit.
