Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5 Oversized Exported Videos

I'm having problems with exporting my anime music videos. Once I export the movie file to an .AVI, it appears to be much larger than your average 3 minute video. It's practically 500MB and its obvious that it's just not normal to have such a huge file. Can someone help me out with it?

You want to take that huge master file and compress it to a distribution codec, like MPEG-1 or XviD, with something else.

Use Winavi video converter and convert it into MPEG-1

I suggest you go here and download this Mpeg tool. Scintilla suggested it to me a few days ago and it worked great. It's easy to use and it got my 340 meg Adobe Premiere export file down to a 40 meg Mpeg.
