VirtualDub 1.5.10
I'm trying to capture video from my xbox. I can see the footage on my screen but when I goto capture it I get:
"Warning: No frames captured.
Make sure your capture card is functioning correctly and that a valid video source is connected. you might also try turning off overlay, reducing the image size, or reducing the image depth to 24 or 16-bit."
I can't change the video resolution either, If I try I get this error:
"Error 418: Unsupported Video Format"
It only accepts 720x480. which is fine by me but it won't capture. For video compression I'm using Huffyuv v2.1.1 -CCES Patch v.0.2.5.
I've captured video from my xbox before (about a year ago). Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

After some searching I think I need to get a VFW driver for WinXP. But there doesn't seem to be one. I tried the NT/2000 drivers but they didn't work.
I installed a web cam a few weeks ago but it didn't work, so I uninstalled the software. Would installing a web cam mess with the WDM drivers, causeing a conflict of some kind with my capture card?
