Adobe premiere pro difficulties

Premiere keeps changing the size of my video wen i import. i set the frame size to 720 by 480 but it changes the frame size to 320 and 240.it kept doing this after i made my first movie on it.i really need some help with this.

There is nothing you can really do about that.

Premiere simply performs a 2:1 reduction of your video (360x240), which is perfect for resizing back to 720x480 when you are ready to export your video.

You will not lose anything in the reduction / enlargement.

If it's showing up in the monitor window as 320x240, then see what the scale for that window is set to (25%, 50%, 75%, 100%, etc.). If it's still that small at 100%, then there's a problem.

If you mean the statistics for the clip in the <i>library</i> claim the resolution is 320x240, then that's screwed up and I have no idea.

how do i resize it wen i'm ready to export?

Just make sure the resolution in the export settings is the resolution you want your video to have.
