one what is wrong with your WMM? You may want to uninstall and then reinstall WMM that should help. If that doesnt then you may want to redownload it.

second I used eve trail version for a while when I was waiting for my windows xp to come into the mail.

Well, Ulead Video Studio has several similarities to WMM, you could try that.
