Software for using fansub files?

Post by base » Mon Sep 12, 2005 6:26 pm

In windows movie maker it says "The file C:\Program Files\BitComet\Downloads\Fafner in the Azure\[A-E]_Fafner_in_the_Azure_-_Dead_Aggressor_02.avi cannot be imported because the codec required to play the file is not installed on your computer. If you have already tried to download and install the codec, close and restart Windows Movie Maker, and then try to import the file again."

I have codecs, I know cos I watch the file. I have k-lite codec pack standard. I also tried OpenVIP but I don't understand how to use it.
All help appreciated.

I think its the huffy packet or maybe k-lite packet that makes wmm not work... I remember there was a codec packet that if installed will fuck up wmm, and I am pretty sure you have it.

(huffyyuv, divx, etc).

HuffYUV is not a codec pack, it's just one codec. And just having it doesn't screw up WMM2; neither does just having DivX.

No, I am talking about a codec packet that has huffyYUV, and a bunch of other codecs in it and when I first downloaded it (about a year and a half ago) the guy who gave me the link said that it would ruin wmm, but other than that it was very useful to have-. this is all third person info so its not "exactly" reliable, neither is it new information.
