Time for an upgrade in movie making

Right now I am using Windows Movie Maker to do my projects, but I am curious in an advance program that will give out better AMVs. Also, as to an opinion and from my own searching, I need an editor programing that will allow me to remove the subtitiles from my clips.

Anyone have suggestions?

...But I tried to use the VirtualDub Program and grandly failed. I just don't understand it...Plus the fact that my f'ing WMM program doesn't save the completed AMVs in AVI format.

That has helped me so much! Now, I got to understand the damn VirtualDubMod and get the thing working and then I'm cool. lol
