Adobe Pre. Pro 2.0 and AmvAPP

Post by The14thGOD » Sun Feb 19, 2006 9:40 am

Does the AmvAPP work with APP 2.0 or is there some new coding need to take place?

I'm using it in Premiere Pro 2 and it works ok but I am noticing that Pro 2 renders AVS files much uglier than Pro 1.5. I've tried working with different settings but haven't been able to get AVS files rendering as nice as they did in 1.5. They keep having a smeared look as each frame blends into the other. Because of this I'm still using Premiere Pro 1.5.

Even if Premiere Pro 2.0 works for you, definately try and NOT upgrade in the middle of a project. When I upgraded from 1.5 to 2.0 I had an absolute nightmare of a time to get my project back up and running because neither program would work for me anymore. Premiere Pro 1.5 was no longer reading AVS files and 2.0 was constantly crashing so I was left with nothing to edit with. I eventually got everything fixed without any damage to the original project file but it taught me to wait until the project is over before I do a program upgrade. Just food for thought.
