curious....
What sort of program do people use to make AMVs? I have tons of ideas, but no clue how to get started.....

Check the how to guides, most of what you need is there. Some dvd burners come with editing software, like Ulead or Pinnacle. These usually work ok, or if you don't have them, windows movie maker is a good place to start, the price is right. To do top work, Adobe premier and after effects seem to be the top choises. There is a lot of help in the video software and audio software forums too.
