ffdshow vs Adobe.
Basically when I have ffdshow installed Premiere pro and company don't want to run because it can't configure ffdshow.ax Are there any fixes or workarounds that will let the two coexist?

Tried it, with mix results. I've been switching between the 11/29/2005 version of ffdshow and what's in amvapp. and for no apparent reason reinstalling ffdshow "works" but created another problem where it would cause my system to hang periodically when I select avi files in the windows explorer. The only real solution for me was to reimage from a ghost file to a working state and do some voodoo. While I have figured out why the adobe apps wouldn't want to open up (they couldn'y configure/access the ffdshow.ax file) It's still a wonder to me why even uninstalling ffdshow would cause windows explorer to hang when I select avi files.
