Voice Cancellation

I am trying to find a Program or plugin to remove the voices in certain songs.
If you ever played with FFDShow then you will find a Voice Control option that can remove the voices in audio tracks. I want to do this to make an instrumental audio file.

It's (except in certain cases) significantly more complex than a simple push of a button to do something like that. Audio editing is a long and tedious process unless the voice you're editing out is very diferent from the other sounds being played at the time. If you want to preserve the quality of the song, you're going to have to get some audio editing software. I know people that use pro tools, but that's way above what you'd need...

You might find it a lot easier to just go searching for instrumental or karoke versions of the song. ^_^;

Especially since any voice cancleation you could accomplish would be poor, obvious, or remove other parts of the music that you want to keep
