ok i need some serious help. I am using "Vicbond007's guide to working with DVD footage for use in anime music video's" and i have made it to the point where i am saving it as an avi file. but every time i click save and give the name i want it to be it starts and stops and says..
Avisynth read error:
CAVIStreamsynth: System exception - Access violation
what have i done wrong?

it sounds like a memory problem (not enough of it usually), you can solve this in one of two ways
1: buy more ram, costs money and may not completely solve your problem
2: include the line setMemoryMax(int) in your script where int is a positive, non-zero integer.
16 usually works fine, but if you have a big script (or are working with really big files) you may have to set it to 32.
Vicbond007's guide is good, but pretty old. try reading the guide above vicbond007's (ErMaC and Absolute Denstiny's) as the tecniques(sp) and programs are a bit more updated.
