ok.. i need a real good Converter...
if its not free thats ok.. but i would like it to be.

i donno how to convert swf....

but for DVD to AVI you could just use Virtualdub Mod (which is included in the amv app)... it will take VOB files and you can save them as avi...

or you could get DVD2AVI (never liked it much though)

Im also having the same problem i cant seem 2 find a converter that will take in VOB an spit out AVI.... an that sucks :(

DVD2AVI or DGIndex
although you probably want to clean up the footage before saving it as an avi.

google the above to find dls
use the guides to tell you how to use them
this one or this other one (which I think is easier to understand)
