Premiere pro 1.5
and I'm trying to learn After Effects 6.5

both programs have a high learning curve...but premiere wasn't too hard for me (after using trial version of editstudio 5).
After effects is proving to be a bit more difficult, but that could just be because I haven't had anything to do in it til now.

If you haven't heard already, WMM sucks...if you haven't had problems with it yet, just give it some time.
I would reccomend getting another program. Vegas is much better, and is pretty cheap too (but if you're willling to spend the time and money, premiere is also very good)

well i use adobe premiere 6.5 and after effects 6.0, also photoshop CS for images

and i use sony vegas 6.0

well really it all depends on what u like the best, some ppl like vegas, others dont. its completely up to u

Magix Movie Edit Pro 10+ UK. It's easy to use for the basic things like placing clips and dragging their handles around, but the effects curves are kind of fiddly. Still, it's a good program for the price.

I also use AviSynth a lot, mostly for preprocessing at the moment. I might end up using it for masking, as Magix seems a little weak in that area. Oh, and MSPaint. Can't forget that.

i use Sony Vegas 6.0 at the moment, but wan't to learn to use AfterEffects 7.0 some time soon.
