Why are you changing the fourcc to HFYU? :?:
The codec is just divx 5. All you have to do is set the fourcc to "DIVX".

It´s impossible. The only way to get it is to having the original codecs from Blizzard and i´m sure that they don´t support it. Is the way they protect his own media.
I´ll try to capture the video by diffent ways like windows desktop capturers... :?

Desktop video capurers don´t work with videos.

Zarxrax-Have you that videos? Have you changed the codec that they originaly have? Perhaps you are talking about something you don´t know. They are compressed in a special version of Divx5 that you can play in windows (I usea media player classic) but you can´t edit ¬¬. The abcAVI Tag Editor only chages a "false" text information that the video archive has. I can paly it but I can´t edit that. It doesn´t matter what extension I type them. Premiere, Combustion, Virtual dub and some more don´t open that files due the lack of the codec.

I´m frustrated. But i´ll get it. :x

No, I have not tried it myself, but the method that I have told you has been confirmed by at least 2 people, which I found by searching the doom9.org forums.

In defense of Zarxrax, mplayer just interprets fourcc BLZ0 as DivX5 video, and I believe it does so without special-casing anything.

In virtualdub you can click "popup extended open options" when you open the file, and it will let you change the fourcc there. Or you could just use a tool like Nic's 4cc changer which is included in Koepi's Xvid.

Ahh.. At last!

I got it 8)

Zarxrax you wasn´t totaly wrong, you misestimated one step... I think I have to excuse me.

-1st step was change the fourcc (BZL0 by DIVX) with an application that can change it externally like "abcAVI Tag Editor" (I know now how to use it properly) not Virtual dub. Vdub needs the correct and working codec to open a video file.

-2nd step, decode it with Virtual Dub to a Premiere´s recognizable video format

-3th step edit :D

Thank u about the feedback and patience.

pd.: DJ Dounlode you finaly lost my kiss

Uh, that's what he said to do :?
