I applaude your efforts that this useful package, however it did cause me one little problem.
I had a Matrox YUY2 codec and a Logictec (YUV9?) codec installed for my Marvel G400 and my quickcam respectively and HuffYUV replaced them with itself (it overwrote their fourcc codec in the Drivers32 section of the registry.)
Is there anyway to prevent HuffYUV from installing itself as a handler for vidc.yuy2 and the like?

There had to be one didn't there
The reason I included this particular version of HuffYUV was because it fixes many yuv display issues that certain graphics cards have after installing diretcx8.
Now, the fact that the matrox has its own yuv handler is of no real surprise but it is a surprise that it's objectionable to have it changed for the huffyuv renderer
As it happens it's the part of the pack I've been debating the most. I know that for lots of users out there it will be a godsend but equally I guess I could I could make the extra registry settings optional (well they already are optional but they are opt-out rather than opt-in )
This particular version of huffyuv has its own installer so if you want to fix things then look for the uninstaller in add/remove programs.
In the meantime I'll think about what to do for the next release of the pack, which should be pretty soon. Thanks for letting me know though.
