Says you. There are plenty of people here who are quite happy with Premiere Pro (like me), Vegas, Magix, Cinelerra, and who knows how many others.

Am I the only one here who actually prefers Pro to 5.1?

(Just discovered multiple sequences the other day... this will make adding effects at the end easier... :D )

To echo Corran: ... what?
ajew wrote:THis whole idea of geting a good editing program like avid or final cut and magically makeing a good amv is a dream of the past. I've seen amazing videos through windows movie maker so it the sturctive but how you can stretch it.
Um, here's what I think you said:

"Just because you have a fancy editing program like Avid or Final Cut doesn't mean you can automatically make good AMVs. I've seen amazing videos that were made with Windows Movie Maker. So it's not the program, but what you do with it."

In which case I don't think anyone here will disagree with you.

I think he means "offers" and he's saying anything you can do in AE you can do in Premiere... which is total bunk. :P

Try doing dynamic lighting, particle generation, virtual camera movement, etc in Premiere. No really, go ahead. Have fun not being able to :P

Sorri I meant basic effects like blue screening etc and how many people are allow to do the effects you are listing ermac. It better of for a beginner to just use premiere and learn from there. If he needs to he can use aftereffects but why switch programs and learn it all over again.
