[rul=http://www.google.com.au/search?hl=en&i ... arch&meta=] and here's a good site i found :P [/url]

you could also try ebay but, well that just depends on how much you trust it.

anyway, is their any chance i may somehow sway you into trying out vegas 5 before making a purchase ?
bum, he's got a Mac. 6.0 was the last version of Premiere on the Mac (I think... Correction, there is a 6.5 Mac), which is why he's looking for that version. Vegas, while nice, unfortunately doesn't have a Mac version, either.

Given that Adobe's not shipping 6.5 or any Mac version anymore, eBay is unfortunately probably your best bet for finding it, SQ. If you can afford it, why not try Final Cut Express? FCE2 is listing in the Apple Educational Store for $149, with the full Production Suite Academic (FCP HD, DVD Studio, and Motion) for $499.

Well, if you get a certain Mac for $99, FCP is packaged with it, which is the best deal ever.

I was only hoping that Premiere 6 and below would be available for a Mac, because I have a friend who is adimate about getting it for his mac, and can't find it at his college store. He's not a member here, so that's why I asked.

I'll relay the ebay message to him...

Thanks for everyone's imput anyway, you were a bit help, and I'll make sure to look at this later- if I don't get a mac when I move out(which is highly unlikely).

But, I'm sure these links will help a lot of other people... ^_^;;
