Sorry I'm a little dence, I havent had much experience with Premiere yet. It sounds like he bought Premiere PRo 1.5, and it won't run. I'd think premiere would run on any pc (well, equally bad), or is this just some kind of optimization option in premiere that he can't seem to enable?

It won't install without giving an SSE error!
The system requirements are:
Intel® Pentium® III 800MHz processor (Pentium 4 3GHz recommended)
which would be silly if they desided not to allow AMD processers to use it.
256MB of RAM (1GB or more recommended)
800MB of available hard-disk sorta large for what it can do Program!
Microsoft DirectX-compatible ... blah blah
:shock: 1,280x1,024 32-bit color video display adapter (OpenGL card recommended)

I grabed the lates BIOS for my Motherboard (K7S5A) now its detecting SSE support. Adobe Premiere is happy....and i called off the Adobe hit ;)
