You STILL have not answered my questions, which WOULD allow me to help you.

For reference, those questions were:

Then you should be importing your lossless master copies, not .WMVs and .MPGs. You <i>do</i> have lossless master copies of your videos, right?

And you shouldn't be using MP3 audio -- uncompressed PCM (usually in the .WAV container) is generally much easier for editing programs to handle.
