It's not the vobs, it's either Premiere or AviSynth... Vobs are just info.... Avisynth describes how it's displayed and Premiere attempts to display it.

Its not avisynth, and it's not *really* premiere. It's the import plugin that's at fault but it wont be updated for the following reasons:

1) The guy who wrote it has gone AWOL and has been AWOL for a long time.

2) The people who have picked up where he left off are developing this link2 program which in theory will be much better at doing the importing but is buggy at the moment and you have to pay for it. :/


Admittedly it also has something to do with Premiere's display method. You will notice that although it cant resize it on the preivew monitor, timeline, transition or motion settings images it *can* resize it on the transparency preview - so it has something to do with the particular method Premiere uses not being compatible.
