Also, Photoshop plugins don't work in Premiere but some do in the program AVIedit. It's got a free demo, maybe you should see if the method you used in Photoshop would work there. (AVIedit only costs around $30 anyway if you decide you like it.)
I have gotten any image too work by simply copying it too the clipboard than pasting it onto the timeline.... though Idunno what this has too do with anything ;-p
