But i found that this site sucks, because any song plus all the clips to take up the length of the song is gonna be way to big, if any of u all wanna see it and have AIM ill send it to you and u can tell me what u think. If your interested my SN is DanteNiven, by the way u need the huffyuv codec to play it, if yo dont have it you should get it, its a great thing to have.

So... this site-- not the forums, mind, the whole site-- sucks because your AMV is too big? Whaaa?

You need to compress your AMVs for distribution. If it's HuffYUV, no wonder it's so big. :?

Oh, and Lagarith is better. :)

not really

Post by joelburchell » Fri May 26, 2006 5:02 pm

befor i used Huffyuv I tested it against Lagarith because a friend of mine told me to use it. I compressed the same video with each codec, Lagarith's final video was bigger, had glitches, and the screen even whent pure white at times. The Huffyuv video was perfect quality wise and smaller.Dont believe me, if you have aim ill send you each.

Nope, and it would take way too long if the files are still lossless. I don't know what the problem was with your Lagarith encode, but I'm sure someone here can it working for you.

I'd like to remind people that I've only ever had one account on this site. These people are not me.

Limitations yes, but it only crashes if your HardK0re enough to load 27 vob's directly into it on a system with 512MB RAM. Man, I am so much cooler than you guys.

But .AVI files are such a bitch to work with some times ...some times it's better to work with the raw .vob file.
