Zero, I have one question for you.... do you live at home with your parents or do you actually pay rent/mortage. Your idea seems to be a bit much. I think you could spend a lot LESS money for a computer that would keep up with your gaming/editing/server just fine. Some one is going to make a killing off you. What in the world are you going to do that will require 16 gigs of ram pilot your own EVA with it??

Oh and BTW..... Zetsuai....

I live by myself and I pay a mortage (a rather heafty one because I want it out of my way). I do, however, have alot of money left over that I use on various things, and a computer like this is something I'm looking into. Besides, what's it to you? If I want to blow 4 Weeks salary on a new machine, then I will.

That's a very nonspecific question. Depending on the complexity of the video I'm editing, it can take from a few minutes to multiple hours; there's no real answer unless you clarify.billy_wires wrote:@jbone:
How does your computer do in rendering? Mine is only a wee bit slower than yours, and I can edit fairly well. Rendering is a slightly different story. It takes me a few minutes to render an entire video.
Also, you need to be more specific regarding "slower." Same processor, lower clock speed? Different processor, lower clock speed? Same processor and clock speed, less RAM? "Slower" doesn't give me any indication.

Sorry, we're not hiring. But if you want to increase your chances, I recomend at least two years of training, as well as the CompTIA A+ and Network+ Certifications.billy_wires wrote:$4,000 in four weeks is your salary? I want your job.

Just a general "cuts and fades" video, the regular "press enter" type rendering. Exporting huffy from Premiere would also work. Just a sort of general question that begs a general answer.jbone wrote:That's a very nonspecific question. As far as "a little bit slower:"
Half the RAM (I know), and a P4 3.0GHZ.
I just was looking for a general answer, but perhaps a more specific one will prove to be interesting.
