Adobe Premiere Importing slow

I've installed an old beta version of huffyuv, only for try, since I usually
use MJPEG and DV for saving space on my HD.

Just for the sake of asking, given that you ARE using fansubs and whatnot... Is your Premiere a legal version? I mean, did you purchase the CDs and install them with a legal CD-key and not use warez, cracks or anything else of the sort?

I use huffyuv and lagarith for editing and they never present problems importing, although premiere pro tends not to read my huffys sometimes. And even though DivX/XviD files make premiere crash like a car driven by an effedrine-addicted squirrel, they do import without problems most of the time.

"Full Processing Mode", "Normal Recompress" and "Fast Recompress" don't render different results, they just get there in different ways. There's no use complaining about how full processing mode gave you big files because that has nothing to do with it. Just use a different codec, like MJPEG Lossless.

I agree, just use a different codec.
FFDshow include also a MJPEG Lossless codec, but personally, I never use
it because I never have enough space on my HD.

Different ways always equals to Different result.
For example, when you are ripping a DVD with VirtualDubMOD,
and you're using DivX codec, it's recommended to set processing
method to fast recompress, since your souce color-space is very
probaly YUV12 and your DivX codec color-space is also YUV12.

You don't need to set it to Full processing for deinterlace your DVD video
DivX codec is enabled to apply a inner deinterlace filter.

You'll speed up the encoding process and save color fidelity(even though unperceiveble without an attentive examination).

I did what you asked. Not working.

I haven't purchased Premiere Pro CD. I'd be super pissed if I had.

So, I'm giving up on this sucky program. What program would be better?

Better than Premiere? Depends on the point of view.

Sony Vegas, is a good programm, it's less precise than Premiere
in every single operation, but it never gives you any sucky problem.

The ORIGINAL LEGAL LICENCED Adobe Premiere is also a lot better, because it has all the DLLs and therefore it works at a reasonable speed. Sony Vegas, as suggested by Cloyce is also as you put it a sucky program. However, Cloyce was probably reffering to the ORIGINAL LEGAL LICENCED Sony Vegas, which is said to be very good (I myself am unfamiliar with the software). Studio9 is a dependable program, I've never heard of it crashing but it has only the basic options. Its slightly better than Windows Movie Maker, and I wouldn't advise wasting your money on it.

Why in the hell would if it's ligit or not have anything to do with the speed and stability of the program? Why the hell would it not have 'All the DLLs'? Pirated software is complete pirated software, it's the complete god damned program. If pirated software was much less stable, fast, and lacked essential core files, pirating software WOULDN'T BE POPULAR.

Pirated software is a 1:1 copy, this isn't some grey market knock off coded by a group of underfed Mexician children and sold under the name 'Del Monte Premier Taco 2.0'. |:

Wait, i'm confused. Wasn't the problem that you didn't want to do what needed to be done to get this to work correctly (make lossless clips in VDubMod)? How exactly is this Premiere's fault?

The lossless clips DIDN'T work in Premiere. That's how it's Premiere's fault.

Sony Vegas? I'll try to find it someday soon, I'm too tired for this crap right now.
