Please help me

Post by Chiemi » Sun Feb 09, 2003 8:26 am

how do you make small sized music videos in Adobe Premiere™? My music videos always end up in about 1.4GB, how do you make high quality music videos with only about 40MB in size. And how do you make it run smoothly? Thanks to anyone who will help.

"If someone feels the need to 'express' himself or herself with a huge graphical 'singature' that has nothing to do with anything, that person should reevaluate his or her reasons for needing said form of expression, possibly with the help of a licensed mental health practitioner."

What you export from Premiere is NOT what you distribute. I pity you if you try to distribute that huge-ass thing. You have to compress it for distribution. So, read the guides to learn how to compress.

Haha, I remember one moron was distro'ing these huge-ass (I believe) DivX copies of his music videos (Used Fantasia 2000 and shit)

They were 250-300MB each. o_O

Heh, my first video, I made the distribution encode straight from Premiere with DivX. I got it down to about 39 MB or so.

However, it's not recommended to create the distribution copy straight from premiere, because other programs such as TMEPGEnc and VDub are more flexible at compressing, and besides, if you use DVD rips, Premiere won't IVTC the footage, so it'll have scanlines all over the damn place.

Well, if you do IVTC beforehand, you won't :)
