Final Cut Express - What am I loosing?

I know there are maybe 3 mac users on the forum, but maybe someone has some experiance with Final Cut. I see there is a new (well, new to me) product called Final Cut Express, which, naturally, is a striped down version of Final Cut Pro for 70% less cost. Does anyone know what the differences are between FCP and FCE? I have done some research, and the main differences seem to be some dumbing down of the menus (which is good for me) and less support for animation tools and After Effects plugins. Lots of articles mention that you are only allowed "global keyframing", which means nothing to this noob, but it may someday if I actually get good at this AMV stuff. So anyone know what I give up that I may need as an AMV creator if I go express over pro?
