Codec question
Not really an amv question, but it's for a teacher that lets me work on amv's in school, so please give me a hand. Someone who actually works on the real assignments in here (I'm an independent student in this class) made a commercial for the school. They want it on the website. Since this isn't an amv, it doesn't need to really look that good and the source isn’t the best anyway. I'm looking for a small, compatible codec that the not-so-computer-savvy user without any downloaded codecs can use. The smaller the file the better. I can take it home and encode it there so I can use virtualdub to encode and any codecs I want. I can't use rm or quicktime for various reasons, though I wouldn't really want to. Again, this is for parents and other various people who don't really know how to use a computer. Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance
