Premiere Exporting....Link to AVISynth?

Post by Bushido Philosopher » Tue Aug 06, 2002 4:03 pm

When exporting a project I noticed that there was an option labeled:
Link to AVISynth.

I've looked at AVISynth's site and it says to use what the frameserver tells me, so I end up with something like
IPCSource("Title")

So I save that linear command in a .AVS script and try to open it in TMPGEnc and it doesn't work. I see the video screen says
Script error: there is no function named IPCSource.

So does that mean I can't export the project and save myself even more time, or am I just doing something wrong?

You can get the updated premiere frameserver from www.videotools.net but in all honesty if you are going to encode something more than once, it wont save you any time - you might as well export to HuffYUV.

It's worth getting the frameserver though, it's very useful.
