Adobe Premiere o woes. :(

Post by stealthbig » Thu Oct 23, 2003 6:31 pm

When I try to import DivX files into adobe premiere 6.5, some files will make premiere crash. In pro, when I try to import some divx files, it'll forever get stuck in the importing files dialog box. Yet another divx file will work. Am I forced to use virtualdub and uncompress these?

Thanks

BTW, the files I am trying to use are on an NTFS partition, while my windows and programs is on a FAT32.

Yup.. I recommend re-encoding them using the Huffyuv codec in Vdub.

Wow.. The only way to use DivX files is to convert then to 6 gig large files ( for a 20min naruto episode) !?!? Geez, I dont have enough HD space for more than 3, or 4 episodes, and ideally I'd like to use more in my video.. Is this really the only way?
