have downloaded PSXVideo, PSMplay, PSXMC, PSXTrulz, STRplay, and I can't get any of them to work. I would prefer to use either PSMplay or PSXMC, so if someone could help me with those.
The problem I'm having with PSMplay (its not the wnaspi32.dll not found problem, I downloaded that dll from DLL downloads) is that when I go to Analyze CD-ROM, it says it can't and then asks if I went through Assign CD-ROM. When I go to Assign CD-ROM, it gives me drive letters, with pull down boxes next to them. What do I type in the D: drive box, to assign the CD-ROM drive, or how do I assign CD-ROM?
The problem I am having with PSXMC is that when I go to Open and Analyze CD-ROM, I get an error box saying "Unable to read TOC from CD-ROM. Drive may not be ready", what is that and how do I get this to work?
Please someone help me, I'm sorry for the n00b questions, but I want to start to make AMVs.
Thanks in advance.

Make sure you have the right cd rom selected in PSXMC. Make sure that you put the game in the selected cd rom as well =o). I don't have any problem with mine, well I couldn't put it in my dvd rom I had to use my burner instead. Some cd roms may not be able to read the cds, and not all psx games can be read.
Of all the things I've lost...... I miss my mind the most.

Thanks for the advice. I finally got the programs to work, just not on this computer (I wanted to use this computer). I have an old computer with Windows 98 Second Edition on it and tried both in that, and they worked, but they won't work on this computer, probaly because its Windows XP. What I think I am going to do now is either get a second hard drive for this computer and partition it with Windows 98, or rebuild my other computer and keep Windows 98 on it and then use that computer to use these programs. Currently my other computer has some problems and would need to be rebuilt (on board video on the motherboard is fried, get lots hard locks, and that one gets a good amount of Blue Screens of Death).
I hope to be able to start making AMVs soon.

Windows XP should work, since it basically just an upgraded version of the Win98 OS. I'm sure that a lot of new creators that use those programs have XP on their computers and work fine. It could've been some virus in the program, or just that the one you downloaded had some mix up with your CD-Rom drives. I usually rip from my DVD-Rom, because they can also rip DVDs.
