Post by crazyblondemuffin » Sat Mar 06, 2004 12:11 pm

I need help with avisynth. For some reason whenever i import a .avs file into adobe, it just shows up in red letters. No video file, no nothing! I have all the dvd2avi setting correct and i saved the .d2v file correctly too. I typed up all the stuff in notepad that i needed and saved it as a .avs file but it wont work. Someone please help!

The 'red letters' don't happen to say "Unrecognised exception" do they? If so then check out this thread (in this fourm):
http://www.animemusicvideos.org/phpBB/v ... hp?t=15764

If they say something else, then please tell us.

Two quick questions:

You do have the AVS plugin for Premiere installed - right?
Do you get the same message in VirtualDubMod?

OK, you have the plugin. Good.

Perhaps you can make the window in Premiere bigger? Or change the resolution size of the video so that is bigger? A magnifying glass even?

I would be happy to help (as would most here) but I need a bit more info to go on - like that message.

If all else fails then just assume that the message is "unrecognized exception" - it probably is - and follow the instructions in the thread I liked to.

Try playing the .AVS file in Windows Media Player. Hopefully, it'll be big enough for you to be able to read the red text that comes up.
