Problem opening old Premiere project...
I know I had this problem a year or so ago when I replaced a HD and had to reinstall everything, but I can't remember how I fixed it...
I finally got around to installing Premire 6.0 on my new computer and went to open an old project file, and it is showing all the clips as being one frame long. I chcked and made sure the AVIsynth Premire plugin was installed and huffyuv was too, which were the main problem causers I could think of. I've been away too long to remember how to do all this stuff o.o At least this time I'm not panicing because I think my who project is gone ^^;
Anyway, any help would be greatly appreciated. It's probably something dumb, so I apologize in advance.

Those one-frames are called offline files. It means Premiere either can't locate the preview files that are associated with your project, or the video footage (your Avisynth file) is missing from the directory it was originally saved on your previous hard drive. But don't worry, these offline files should still retain the information for your clips in Premiere; such as duration, timecode, frame rate, etc. Make sure not to delete them for the time being. In order to replace these offline files with your actual video footage, first go to Project - Replace Clips. A dialog box should pop up, prompting you to find and select the source files you've used in your project. Point Premiere to the location of your Avisynth file (after you make sure it contains the exact same vob and d2v data as in your previous hdd), and then your footage should load up unrendered on your timeline. Also, among the options in the Replace File dialog box, do not click "Skip" or "Skip All", as these will delete information concerning your edited clips in Premiere. If you can't locate your footage, simply select the "Offline" or the "All Offline" option. Good luck!

burntoast: I'm trying to do that but Premiere is locking up. In fact, the entire computer is down to a crawl, even when the program is just opened but not doing anything. Is 6.0 not compatible with XP? XP let me install it without any problem. I was running it on my old laptop with ME and 128mb RAM, so I'm perplexed as to why a computer with 512mb can't handle it.
