Are you referring to the fact that your other thread has not had a reply in the last half hour? If so, you can't expect a response so quickly, especially on a holiday People know of Pinnacle, just give it time.senshiSolace wrote:since... no one knows anything about my program
But I personally use Premiere and have no problems with it.

I personally like Adobe Premiere (Pro); it can do basically anything I find myself wanting it to do, esp. when combined with Photoshop (or The GIMP, if you prefer). And it doesn't give me hassles, and I can edit straight from AVISynth scripts in it.
But if you're looking for something cheap, then Premiere is totally not the way to go. Unless you're also including Premiere Elements, which I don't really know much about. But there's a pretty recent thread about it somewhere.

Okay I can somewhat agree with you Scintilla u can do whatever you want but when you try to create the actual Video it comes out to around 1-3GB. Unless you bought the actual program.
If worst comes to worst, use Windows Movie Maker, I will say its not as good as Adobe but it makes vids come out to 10-50MB (depending on the files you use).
I made a Music Video on Adobe it was called Majin Vegeta Tribute, It was great except for the fact it took 3GB away from my hard drive.
I found Windows Movie Maker and tried to redo almost all of it; yet i failed the first time, i then started makin more videos, and grew acustom to the program and re-did my Music Video, I deleted the one thats on a-m-v.org, right now and im hopin to get the new one out asap.
But basicly Adobe is only good if you know how to make the videos come out in less than 1 GB.

Video files exported from your video editor are SUPPOSED to be huge.
This is because they are supposed to be lossless (= full quality) copies.
They are NOT the copies you're going to distribute.
You take the lossless version and you run it through other programs (= AVISynth, then either VDub(/Mod) or TMPGEnc) in order to compress it to a size suitable for distribution.
Read this:

And what do you mean by "unless you bought the actual program"?

A good equivalent to Studio 9 Plus is Ulead Video Studio 8. Pretty easy to use and I'd suggest testing the trial version to make sure you don't have the same problem before you buy. Though I'd really suggest the Media Studio for making AMVs.senshiSolace wrote:since... no one knows anything about my program i guess i'll exchange it... what's the best (cheapest) editor out there... adobe? i seem to hear a lot about it...

Where did you buy the program? Most retail stores don't allow returns of opened software.
