In YOUR opinion which movie editer is most reliable
i have been using WMM for about 2 years. i have made some pretty decent AMV's but i am wondering
what would be best for AMV's
there are many topics so far on Software
but i was wondring which one i more realiable
in not freezing (damn windows movie maker)
and isnt a hassle to deal with i was also wondering which
ones can make the song fade out in different parts
because doing this with movie maker is a hassle.
thank you for reading.

Go read one of the dozens of 'What software should I use?' threads. Obviously people won't use software that's unreliable.
It also depends on how good your computer specs are. The greatest video editing program in the world will still crash on a Win95 machine with 64mb of ram.

Most realiable? Vegas, easily. I've spent hours at a time editing multi payered and effect heavy scenes using divx footage and It hasnt crashed once while edting. It did crash a bit while I had 28GB's worth of vob files loaded into it, but I think that had more with my systems resources maxing out than anything els.

i've been a diehard premiere fan for years and i use it for all my business projects. or, did, anyway....
on my last project, i decided to try vegas 5 just to see what it was like - in all honesty, i was really impressed. i went out and bought a copy of it the next day - i will still use premiere primarily, but if i ever need to do some quick and simple edits - vegas all the way for me - its just nice and "solid"

Adobe After Effects is my personal favorite...even though I'm still learning it lol but yeah...theres just so much you can do with it...and it makes life so much easier ^^
i have Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5 too but I dont really like it because it freezes A LOT for me and my computer is XP 111GB at 1GB ram so yeah...I only had like 8gb of footage on there too when it does that so kinda disappointing -_- effects you can do on there are great and easy however...though its nothing compared to what After Effects can do
