new to this: Adobe Premiere 1.5, how to strobe....

Post by IWUVANIME » Thu Mar 10, 2005 3:43 am

I want to strobe a clip, very fast and regularly... I can get it fast, but no matter how much I change the Random Strobe Probability, it does it randomly.... am I doing something wrong?

I looked for some guides, but couldn't find any helpful ones...

could it possibly be that the preview is just not showing it properly?

Don't use the Strobe filter. Just put the clip on a timeline above the rest of the video and make cuts in it, so it looks something like this

Code: Select all

Video #2 - - - - - - - - - -
Video #1 ____________________________
If that makes any sense. You could adjust the opacity of the clips on Video #2 to make them fade in and out or not be fully opaque as well.
Life's short.
