Please post any links related to ripping PS2/PS1. A lot of topics are going around, hopefully if we keep this bumped, it'll reduce the topics.

Can any of those get video from a Gamecube game? Is it really all the same?

I know of no method to get Gamecube footage other than via a capture card. =/

How about Mobile Suit Gundam. I've been wanting to snag the intros from "Journey to Jaburo" and "Zeonic Front". They're CG footage but I should be able to rip them right? And if I can get the video, how should I go about setting it as a screensave...if possible?

Any way to rip videos from the Metal Gear Solid games (specifically Sons of Liberty and Snake Eater)?

So what exactly is a capture card, anyways?

Links are fine, I'm probably just not looking closely enough

capture video card is a video card that gives you the option to hook your tv/vcr/dvd player up to your computer, where you can "capture" the footage on the computer simply by hitting "record" on ur software that came with the video card. so you play the game and when the part comes on (just b4 it) you hit record and it records it to a .avi/.mpg file on ur hard drive. but you wont get perfect quality.
