tracking overlaid video on jerky footage

Post by cantspell » Thu Jun 16, 2005 9:30 am

I’m just about to start a new music video project and am wondering if anyone can help me achieve a certain effect?? :?

I have some DV footage of walking around London, recorded on a Sony camcorder. :D The quality is good its not very steady.

I want to overlay videos in the billboards and signs. This is wear I foresee the problem because the footage is so jerky I have no idea how I will track the video overlaid on the billboards so that it moves with the camera jerks? :?

Has anyone dun anything similar??+ knows any good ways to tackle this

I’m editing on premier pro and can afford a couple of new plug-ins as long as there not to expensive

Thanks for looking
:P

DynaPel SteadyHand is one program to try. After Effects has image stabilizing and motion tracking tools which could be of use, but I'm not very familiar with them.
