ffdshow problem
I have installd ffdshow and have sucessfully ripped a movie, i started to import the movie to Windows Movie Maker. But then it says some problem have ouccured and WMM shuts down. And this didnt just happen to this movie. I took a downloaded AMV, and imported it to WMM, but the same happend. But when i uninstalled it, everything whent allright with no problems. Whits makes thing very iritating, since i dont what to reinstall ffdshow when i am ripping and then uninstall it wheb im gona edit the movie.

I've had this problem exactly, and it's irritating as hell. Eventually I decided that the only solution was to not use ffdshow. If there *is* a real solution, I'd like to hear it. Other than the fact that ffdshow crashed everything, it worked rather well.
I started using XviD instead, myself. But now I find out that it has a whole bundle of it's own problems. I don't recommend it.
