Subtitle Editing Software

I don't know if this is illegal or not, so if it is, just close this and that'll be the end of it and the idea'll leave my head.

Anyway, I was wondering if there was any program that can edit subtitles and credits out of scenes. I looked in the sticky topics already about it and didn't see anything, so that's why it's here.

If it's only one scene you can use Photoshop or try the Logoaway VirtualDub filter. But for whole episodes the only way is to crop the part with subs away with Vdub or Avisynth.
