Problems Saving an AMV

Post by Merciful Aria » Sun Sep 11, 2005 12:00 pm

I finished an AMV, but WMM won't save it to my computer. It says to check and see if any of these things are the problem:

.Save destination doesn't exist

.Source files for video don't exist

.Not enough disk space

None of those are the problem though, since I'm saving it to my desktop, all source files are there, and it only requires 69.9mb when I have 3gb left.

Does anyone know what the problem is? It's annoying, because I worked a long time on that video :X

I don't know if it'll help but same thing happen to me before. If you can try logging on to someones elses name(if your using XP) than open it up from there. When I did that I found out that one of my clips wasn't in the specific folder although it said that it was one mine so I replaced it and everything ended up working. Hope that helped.

If I don't have another name, so would it work if I created one? And I thought that accounts didn't share files :X

I'll try it though.

As bad as I dont want to say this. Go though EVERY clip file, folder with clips, and music. I havent had this problem but I would bet that it is one of your files. Also if you have some unwanted stuff on your hard drive you may want to take it off. It is safer to have 1/4th of your hard drive left but to each is there own.

I hope this helps

I put everything into one folder, so I can't find it elsewhere o_o

I'll take some stuff off of my hard drive, though. I only have 3 gbs left :X
